Help me give my students fluorescent light covers to soften the bright lights in our classroom and educational resources for the summer and upcoming school year.
In my classroom I have 12 overhead fluorescent lights that are very bright. When my students are in their wheelchairs, they have no choice but to look up at the lights. The lights are so bright that most times we turn off some of the lights in class to lessen the harshness. The magnetic fluorescent light covers are known to help fight against light-related migranes and helps to create a calming environment. I recently purchased light covers that has an ocean theme to match our ocean theme classroom activities. My students responded to the covers very well that I would like to add to my collection so that I can change out the covers throughout the school year and give my students new scenes to look at that will match the seasons and/or learning themes. The learning resources from Lakeshore will give my students opportunities to use their creativity and reading practice. The colored stamp pads are the perfect size for little hands and in my med frag class we laminate everything so we always need laminating sheets on hand.
