My Students

I have first graders who are creative, spontaneous, and eager to learn. As a teacher in a school with 600 students, many of whom come from low income, high poverty, and bilingual homes, my students are faced with several challenges in and out of the classroom. Despite any challenges they may be facing, these first graders come to each remote lesson smiling, excited to learn, and happy to be part of our classroom community.

As the remote teacher for my grade I am looking to get a document camera to help support my students learning!

I am asking for a document camera to help support my students during our remote learning to help me continue to share books, papers, and manipulatives with my students in meaningful ways.

My Project

My awesome first graders are learning from home. Each day, we meet for live lessons while also completing independent work. We need a document camera so I can provide the best instruction they deserve. During live lessons, we often share books, materials, and manipulatives together.

A document camera will allow us to have our live meeting and share the learning materials together in a more meaningful way.

During remote learning, we are all learning a new way to learn. We are facing challenges and it is even more important for us to build connections and show them that learning can be fun even when we are apart. This document camera will allow me to be more effective as a teacher for these awesome learners and help us continue to make learning fun and interactive.
