Help me give my students some "sprinkles" to add to the stop-motion animation class... things to build scenes. The two City People Packs include additional actors needed to make our story lines pop with excitement!

My Students

I teach Speech, Drama, Debate, and Journalism at MHS and will add Stop-Motion animation for MJHS this spring.

My classes challenge students to think outside of the typical box of junior high and high school, to find their place in the fine arts.

I hope my classes encourage students to try something creative, which in turn, causes them to see the world a different place.

My Project

Help me give my students the tools to dive into stop-motion animation (aka brickfilms) using LEGOs, mini-figures, and more. This is a new elective for 7th & 8th Graders (as a full-semester class) and an add-on to my high school drama and speech classes.

Students will learn lessons involving: set building, plotting of a story, digital photography, photo editing, digital publishing/movie creation (using Canva), voice and music soundtracks, and more.

Our goal is to introduce students to a new form of drama, which involves technology, photography, scriptwriting, and more. We're excited to dive into a project which pushes drama to a new level.
