My Project
As the Introduction to Film Studies teacher and advisor to our school's Film Club, the hunt is always on to collect fun, engaging, quality materials for my classroom. Now, the time has come for a projector upgrade. In the age of HD film production and viewing, and after years and YEARS of use, my generations-old projector has gone from sufficient to severely lacking. While my current projector can support a PowerPoint presentation in a completely dark room, it was simply not built to bear the load of a Film Studies class, and my students deserve to see the rich cinematography these films have to offer.
By donating to my project, you'll help furnish my classroom with a new projector that can cater to the dynamics of modern movies and provide a more legitimate theatrical experience for my students.
We're talking 4k picture resolution that will not get washed out if a sliver of sunlight slips into the room! Real-time digital video processing to prevent blocking and lag! An outstanding 2,900 Lumens of gloriously vibrant display!
Students will come to my class knowing that they will see both classic and modern films consistently and brightly displayed with dynamic resolution. This projector will take the optical muddiness out of movies and give my students the experience they deserve.
