Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a diverse background with many different needs. Many families are lower income and I work with students of all levels. We embrace personalized learning with a focus on technology, art, math and writing. My classroom is set up in groups and use flexible seating throughout the day.
My students are eager to show creativity and teamwork using technology!
We would appreciate your help in the area of technology and the use of a green screen for video productions and journalism. We are in need of an iPad, case, microphone and tripod.
My Project
With the use of our needed iPad, green screen and other technology, my students will research insects online, use props, and create informational videos to teach others about insects. The possibilities are endless! We will use the app Green Screen by Do Ink and continue our exploration into journalism and personalized topics of interest.
Using our school garden, research, integration of science & technology, my students will show creativity to produce informational videos & photos using the green screen.
They will work in partners, small groups or individually to show their unique style of learning. Using this iPad in our maker space area will help prepare my students for college and inspire them to learn more about life science!
