At Milwaukee High School of the Arts, students focus on an art form to “major” in. Our Theatre Department is expanding to offer a film studies track, which includes filming and editing. Our students are excited to tell stories through this medium, but we need your help to get started.
We want to offer a variety of film classes so students can learn and master all facets of the film making process, culminating in a student film festival every year.
With this equipment, our students will be able to collaborate as directors, actors and film crews, not only learning how to create a film from start to finish, but the importance of team work, creative problem solving, positive communication and artistic vision.
