My Project

Our school is starting up a broadcast club which will help students learn how to film, present, and interview fellow students & teachers for a weekly broadcast. By providing students with the tools such as a professional camcorder and a prompter, the students will be able to explore what it is like to work in film and media.

Many of the students share an interest in video editing and digital media.

By funding this project, you would be enabling students to explore what it is like using professional equipment for broadcast journalism. This project is also a great opportunity for the kids to learn and explore career paths in media. Students will also feel pride and joy in sharing their footage and interviews with the rest of the school, helping them build a stronger community. Students also need the flexible seating as it gives them opportunities to focus while moving around. The fridge is also beneficial in the classroom to help store fresh snacks and foods for both the teachers and kids.
