My Project

Our daily morning news broadcast has become an exciting tradition at our school. Each day, the students help to produce, film, and edit the morning news segments for the next day. Each grade level start the day by showing this video. It's such a fantastic way to spread positivity and promote a strong school community.

The morning news segment allows students to express themselves through creativity and imagination while promoting a strong sense of community throughout our school.

Students, parents, and teachers have commented on how much they look forward to watching this news segment everyday. Every student in the school is given a chance to participate in some way. Adding the morning news has truly made our school a more cohesive unit.

Currently, we film our morning news using an iPad and a green screen. We'd like to purchase a video camera, tripod, and microphones to make our broadcast look professional and polished.
