My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges.

All of our students have a disability such as autism, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and others.

Theses students benefit from kinesthetic and tactile experiences that working in a TV studio would provide.

My Project

The materials needed for this project will help our students create an in school TV Studio. The students will write, produce, direct, and star in news programs, interview students of the month, and record important school events.

While at work in the TV Studio, the students will problem solve, collaborate, and build relationships.

They will also improve upon their reading, writing, speaking and listening, and other communication skills that will help students grow into confident young adults.

Finally they will share their work to build communities with families while Covid- 19 restrictions continue to limit their access to the school building and events.
