My Students

I have the privilege of teaching and overseeing our school's Digital Journalism class. We began this program as a half-year semester class 3 years ago, and what my students have been able to accomplish week in and week out has been nothing short of incredible.

Every week, the class releases a News broadcast to the entire school that is written, directed, produced and stars the students.

They don't stop with the weekly show; however, as they use their growing media skills to also produce short films, commercials for school events, and special programming which displays to other students around the school.

My class has been able to create wonderful pieces of multimedia with limited resources at times. I can only imagine what they'll be able to create with an influx of new equipment.

My Project

My students continue to produce digital content that is award worthy! I want to do my part and bring them equipment that will bring their content to the next level.

What my students have been able to create with limited resources is impressive on it's own.

I want them to have everything they could possible need to continue their impressive run in creating original content. As their teacher, I feel I cannot do my entire duty if my students do not have the equipment that is up to their standards. I know what they are capable of, and I know the only thing holding them back is their gear.
