My Students

This year I am teaching 3rd grade.

I am so excited to sow into these eager growing minds.

English is a second language for many of these students. They work hard and want to be successful in and out of the classroom. They will benefit from any support a donation could offer.

My students live in a low-income area with 98% qualifying for free lunch.

Most of my students live well below poverty so their parents do not have the means to support a Parent Teacher Association. Many activities and resources are funded directly by the teachers.

These exceptional students may learn differently; however, they are high achievers that never give up. The fight in them makes it easy to advocate for them to have the best.

When the storm devastated our community and displaced us for a week, it really changed the way I think. I realized more than ever how much structure and consistency we provide for our students.

My Project

Technology ushers in fundamental structural changes that can be integral to achieving significant improvements in productivity (US Department of Education). Being able to increase productivity in the classroom is a game changer for my students. The items in my project will help me bring my lessons to life. Being able to project my lessons makes them become interactive for my students. The projector and screen are all apart of the package to make this happen. I have students at all levels and being able to reach them and meet them where they are will increase their success.

This year my class is in a portable so my space is limited and I must maximize where ever I can.

Being able to mount the projector and have the screen retract will allow for more movement and less distractions.

I try my best to make sure that my class is the best are for learning as much as possible.
