My Project
Help our middle school news team create professional-quality broadcasts by funding a MacBook Air! Students will learn industry-standard video editing skills using Final Cut Pro as they run our new portable KNTV studio. Our middle school students are creative, hardworking, and ready to make their voices heard. As members of KNTV Knightly News, they bring important announcements, student features, and creative segments to life for our entire school community.
These students are passionate about storytelling, technology, and making a positive impact.
Many of them dream of careers in media, broadcasting, journalism, and digital production, and they are eager to learn the tools of the trade. Our KNTV news program is growing quickly! To support our student anchors, editors, and directors, we need a MacBook Air to run our portable news studio and teach students professional editing skills with Final Cut Pro.
Right now, we are limited by outdated equipment that slows down production and restricts creativity. A new MacBook Air will allow students to edit news segments using Final Cut Pro, a leading industry-standard software, learn real-world video production skills, create more polished and engaging broadcasts, and manage a portable studio setup for live and recorded shows.
This project will give students the opportunity to work hands-on with current technology used in the real world, build teamwork, leadership, and technical skills. Students will develop confidence in their creative abilities, and see themselves as capable, skilled creators ready for high school and beyond.
The MacBook Air is an essential piece that will allow our KNTV team to shine. With your support, our students will not just report the news - they'll make the news in ways that inspire and connect our entire school community.
