My Project
My students love Percy Jackson book series. Unfortunately, books get damaged and lost over time. I have seen great results in the love of reading The Lightning Thief and would love to give all my future students the same experience.
Students will be participating in classroom discussions and writing projects based on the book. It is a great opportunity to connect standards to longer texts. Hoping to eventually have enough to allow all students to take the book home for deeper dives.
This book is standard for 6th grade in my School District.
