Lighting Up the Environment for Change

My Project

In environmental science, students measure the wattage of different types of Christmas lights and calculate the amount of killawatts per type of Christmas lights. They also calculate the cost of using the lights in our area and the replacement cost per year.

Through this lab, students do a cost comparison and see the benefit of energy efficient lights!

Other materials in this project will be used for measuring temperature at school and the effects of different materials and climate change, as well as review materials for their AP exam. Kleenex is used for their well-being throughout the year due to colds and pollen.

This project will fund energy efficient labs and promote whole-body care for students. Thank you for your support!
