Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom are excited to learn every day. Each of my students comes from a different background that shows their individual personalities and their daily achievements. At our school every student receives free breakfast and lunch. Living in a rural area, many of my students have little understanding as to how big the world really is and what they can do for themselves.

My students come into the classroom daily looking for new opportunities.

My transitional-kindergarten students can experience an entirely new world and way of thinking when they walk in the door!

My Project

I am requesting a light table with some exciting manipulatives so my students can explore and learn about light and shadows. A light table in our classroom will help my students explore light, shadows, and so much more.

With a light table in our science area, my students will be able to find out more about the world they live in.

The sensory exploration of a light table will be extremely beneficial to all of my students because they will be able to explore and observe more science items independently. This will also help increase their scientific and academic vocabulary because they will have more that they can talk about with their peers.
