Lighting Up our Minds with Learning

Help me give my students a light up learning table and to help them enhance their reading, math, and science skills!

My Students

My students have a thirst for knowledge. They are always asking questions and wanting to know more. My class is a very diverse, charismatic group of students. They are so eager to learn. My class currently consists of face to face students and virtual learners. I want to provide a strong foundation for ALL of my students! I also want to help them learn while exploring and learning through investigation! I will be able to do this through the resources being requested.

My Project

I want to make 1st grade a memorable and educational year by providing fun, learning experiences! I want to purchase the light up table to use with light up reading and math manipulatives. We will use these as a center in my classroom! The table will allow my students to practice math and ELA skills in a hands-on, social setting, rather than traditional seat work. This table will be set up as a center, so students will rotate through and practice skills in small groups. By having this table, students will also be able to work collaboratively and problem solve while practicing reading and math skills!
