My students age range from 3 to 5 years old typical and special needs. My students are full of questions and always eager to learn. They thrive on hands-on, engaging challenges and projects. In our classroom we learn through play and self-discovery. My students are my personal cheerleaders, they brighten my day. Everytime they come to school they are ready to learn something new! To teach in a high quality program that fosters the idea of building the foundation for learning. I need my students to fall in love with learning every single day as they embark in the lifelong journey of learning!
My Project
A classroom is a safe space for any student. For some students who have difficulty overcoming obstacles can result in sensory overload. In my classroom I strive in creating a comfortable environment for my students. These light covers are crucial for my students. These light covers will help reduce the bright lights that affects my students.

I want to give them everything they need before they head to Kindergarten.
Fine motor skills are essential for performing everyday skills like: self-care tasks and academic skills. The fine motor materials will give my students an opportunity to build their fine motor skills. As a first year teacher I am noticing that sometimes paper and pencil just doesn't do enough because they lose interest in what we are doing. With these new manipulatives, my students will be able to choose from a variety of toys that will allow them to independently practice their fine motor skills. I am hoping to create a fine motor center in my classroom for my students to practice their skills every day.
