Lighting the Way for Lifelong Literacy!

My students need The Fountas & Pinnell Classroom™ Interactive Read-Aloud Collection to deepen their understanding of various literary genres that match our district's literacy vision while promoting strong comprehension and literacy rich vocabulary.

My Students

I have an incredible class of 20 amazing first graders! They are enthusiastic workers with many different learning styles! First grade is an amazing age to teach because they have such a love of learning and want to soak everything in!

Our classroom is a collaborative community where we learn and grow together!

We encourage children to learn at their highest level and develop a sense of pride in their work! Our classroom is a place where we can share our thinking and our ideas freely and learn from one another. Together we are stronger!

My Project

I am asking for a Read Aloud Collection that beautifully supports our literacy curriculum. The purposefully chosen texts are used as Read Alouds to deepen student thinking and engagement. These Read Alouds have been intentionally selected by experts and leading researchers in the literacy field, Irene Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell.

Carefully selected Interactive Read Alouds boost student learning by deepening comprehension, allowing for better collaborative conversations and growing student vocabulary.

This set comes with valuable teaching tools to better engage students in deep conversation and focus the Interactive Read Aloud on specific learning targets. The Fountas and Pinnell Interactive Read Aloud set will focus my teaching and engage my students in the text, while promoting deeper thinking and creating life long readers.
