My Students
My school is a co-ed Title 1 institution in North Carolina catering to approximately 700 students from all walks of life. Although we operate on a 100% free lunch system, we are still anchored in excellence. Everyday learning opportunities are provided to our students that allow them to explore, discover, and maximize their potential.
My scholarly Brainiacs are like gems, different yet precious!
They are a bunch of ambitious, hardworking, and willing to learn students. I am committed to my task of ensuring that I provide them meaningful, purposeful, inclusive, and relevant learning experiences daily!!
My Project
Literacy skills such as phonics and fluency are foundational skills needed in order to master higher-level skills such as reading and writing. With the materials included in this literacy kit, my Brainiacs will have the opportunity to match, flip and check, or open and self-correct their progress while learning, and improving these skills.
With these resources, my Brainiacs will be learning to read, write, and spell, which are skills needed for success; success as a learner in school, and contributor to society.
As a 21-st century educator, it is imperative to provide the necessary learning opportunities with the appropriate resources to facilitate, support, and enhance students' fullest potential.
