My Students
My students are creative, diverse, artistic individuals that enjoy art-making. My class consists of many different socio-economic backgrounds and gender identities. They love learning new art techniques and are excited to see what they end up producing. My students have recently been focusing on creating political artwork to hone their self-expression skills.
My Project
My students have been incredibly patient with sharing lightboxes at our school. With a new classroom that is a distance away from my department, I do not have very many materials for the students to use.
I have my students think critically about their process and practice making many sketches prior to starting on their final projects.
To ease the transfer of their images to their final paper, I'd like to have a class set of lightboxes for my students to use. As of right now, we do not have any lightboxes in our classroom.
