This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flashlights will provide students with a fun way to incorporate reading during the school day. The focus of the week will be to "Believe in Your Shelf." There will be different opportunities for students to read different genres of books throughout the weeklong celebration. On Friday, the culminating activity will be to use a flashlight to flashback and read a favorite book from the week.
