My Students

My students are eager and excited kindergartners that show up every day wondering what exciting things we are going to learn and what fun we are going to have together. My students are discovering what it means to be independent. They are learning how to make friends and to be a family within our classroom.

My students are the very best my community has to offer.

My students come from a small rural area with significant poverty. In our classroom that playing field gets leveled and my students can soar!

My Project

Reaching students through a variety of mediums and teaching styles is key to their learning in the 21st-century classroom. This Space Saving Light Table is one of many ways I can reach my students and ensure that they have the skills they need to move forward and be successful.

Students at this level require many hands-on experiences to retain new knowledge.

This light table will provide them with an opportunity to manipulate numbers, letters, and shapes in a way that will allow the new knowledge to stay with them.

This light table will also give them control of how they are learning in the classroom. This table will serve as one of many learning stations in our classroom that provide a variety of learning styles for reinforcement of new learning.
