The students at my Title I school are eager kids who want to show the world their music abilities. They come to music class ready to dance, sing, and learn whatever musical element I want them to know.
My students love music and love to share with me their favorite experiences in music.
I want to offer a music room where the students won't need to worry about not having what they need to learn.
I teach at a Title I school where all of the children receive free breakfast and free lunch. There are many students at my school who receive backpacks of food to take home over the weekend, and we also have a food pantry at our school to benefit our families once a month. Even with all the challenges that the students experience, the students come to music class eager to learn!
My Project
I am requesting stage lights to use for our musical theater production we are performing at our school. My students work extremely hard on their character parts for our musical. Our school doesn't have theater lighting and the students have requested have some theater lights for this year's performance. Theater lights give the production more depth while they perform on stage and create effects that otherwise could not be achieved.
My student's work hard on our musical theater productions and I would like to give them a surprise this year by adding some fun lighting to our stage.
The students have to tap into their English Language Arts skills along with their performing art skills to achieve the success at the level they perform.
