Help me give my students LEDs to light our theater and class performances.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Bean's classroom raised $1,056

My Project
Our theater auditorium’s lighting is sadly out of date. One of the most exciting lessons for students is when they get to perform under the stage lights. I am asked on a weekly basis if we can use the lights, but unfortunately, the result ends up disappointing. Our stage lights are 1/3 burnt out and can only wash the stage in uneven levels of white, blue, or red.
With this project, we will start to build our LED light grid so students can be seen on stage, in addition to learning to program a professional grid.
Instead of telling students they can have lights on and nothing else, students can create dimensional lighting designs using every possible color in the rainbow. They would be able to design light plots, shows and include lighting in classroom performances and full productions for the public.
More than half of students from low‑income households
