This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During the morning, our class love to come together for our morning meetings. We need an area rug that all 25 students can fit when we form our community circle and for our whole group learning. This way, everyone can feel included in our dayot day activities. We also like to have the overhead lights off, but we do not get much natural light with our classroom overlooking a dark overhang on the building. We will be able to use the new lights to brighten the darkest areas of our classroom and promote a calm environment.
