"I can't see!" and "I don't understand!" are some of the phrases I commonly hear in my classroom when introducing new lessons and activities. With the addition of a Luna projector, my students will be able to see their learning come to life!
My kindergarten students live in Teaneck, NJ, minutes away from New York City.
Teaneck is a city alive with diverse families of all colors, shapes, makes, and sizes. Many students come from low-income homes, with a number receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
Our classroom is a place where learning comes alive. Each day I try to help the students learn by creating engaging lessons. However, I am limited due to the lack of technology in our room. Through the use of a Luna projection camera, I will be able to help make classroom materials come to life. The Luna will help model the various materials for my students in a unique and interactive way. I hope to project many games and activities on to the screen for my students. This will help numbers come alive, make words dance, and most of all, get my students to succeed!
The students in my classroom are excited to be in school and learn new things every day.
With the addition of this new technology, not only will they be excited to learn, but they will be engaged in the process. Please help us anyway that you can!
