Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I want to create a safe and soothing space for my students to learn. Having different lighting in the classroom will make it more homey and comfortable. "Mood impacts overall performance and willingness to participate." Using soft mood lighting will allow for a more fun and peaceful environment and benefit the mental well-being of the students and staff. By strategically optimizing LED lighting in classrooms, schools can actually improve the academic performance and behavior of students. Fluorescent and LED lighting can affect students' attitudes and behavior in the classroom. Having these different lighting options will benefit all students in my classroom!
