This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are asking for a light table and math and literacy manipulatives for our classroom centers. With this resource we will be able to incorporate math, literacy and STEM activities in a fun and engaging way. For many of my students, this is their first year of schooling. In Pre-K it is such a vital time to help students get exposure to resources they may have never seen before. Being a Title I school, many children in our community have had limited exposure to activities and equipment such as this light table. My 28 students love learning and get so motivated and excited to learn with the new resources we receive. It is my hope that with these resources my students will grow to love learning.
