This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are ambitious, curious, and creative. I am looking for ways to enhance literacy, math, and writing skills. They will be able to explore colors, shapes, numbers using different manipulatives.

Kids are naturally drawn to light and having a light table in my classroom will grab young learners' attention.

It can be used for open ended play activities and/or arts and crafts. It helps with eye-hand coordination, and fine motor development.

It can also be used as a source of visual sensory input. It can be calming for children who are interacting with the light.
