My kindergarten is an active classroom!

To keep my busy learners excited, I am always looking for new ways to make learning fun and meaningful. Having engaging and exciting learning experiences for my students is critical. My goal is to keep my classroom as inspirational as possible so all children develop important skills, such as critical thinking, problem solving, perseverance, motor control, communication, and spatial awareness, as well as a love of learning.

My Project

Collaborative work experiences are something I carefully plan for my students. Having a large, flat surfaced light table in our science center will allow students to work together as they engage in activities that promote collaborative, inquiry based learning. The lighted surface will add an element that I believe will excite and inspire students.

As I work to incorporate more science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) into my students’ educational experiences, a light table will be a rich educational tool that will add an exciting element to learning.

I am thrilled by the prospect of obtaining one for my students’ science center!
