My Project
My students are enthusiastic, creative, willing, and are excited about the performing arts. In fact, they are preparing for their upcoming production of The Nutcracker in December! They blossom in the performing arts classroom and are eager to perform live for an audience of their peers, teachers, family and friends.
These young people with multiple disabilities just love to showcase their talents and have their voices heard in such unique and fun ways.
The true sense of pride and accomplishment is palpable when my students take their much deserved 'bow'.
Unfortunately, our school has very limited lighting capabilities and because of that, the hard work and dedication of the students performances can easily get lost "in the dark". With your support, I can use the items on this campaign to shine light on their faces, create dramatic effects to support our storytelling efforts and create a production that is as professional as possible.
