Light the Way to More Learning

Help me give my students the use of manipulatives to further engage them in the learning process by increasing their interest with the use of the light table and some of the learning components.

My Project

These items will help increase their concrete learning of math concepts while they use the manipulatives on the light board. They need concrete manipulatives in KDG and first grade to help understand the basic concepts in math that they will learn throughout the year.

They will be able to move objects around so they can fully understand the concepts they are learning such as counting, sorting and patterning.

It will keep them engaged as they use a "different" way of looking at math concepts and being able to touch, hold, and place manipulatives on the light board that directly relate to their counting, sorting and patterning activities.
