Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to create a center where my students can engage in light exploration.
The versatility of a light table will help enrich my students learning in the areas of language, mathematics, spatial awareness, and science.
The translucent letters and numbers will help my students with alphabetics and number sense. Moreover, the translucent pattern blocks will help my students explore spatial relationships, geometry, and patterning. Lastly, I want to expand on my students' love for rocks and minerals by providing them with agate slices that they can explore on the light table.
