My Students

My students are hard workers who love to learn. They come to school excited about what we have planned and anxious to learn new things. Kindergarteners are happy to be at school. They learn something new every day and I love that I get to be the one to teach them. Our school is in a small, tight knit community where our families and community members love to be involved in the classroom. My students are happy learners and I am always looking for new ways to make learning fun for them.

My Project

Kindergarteners love to touch and feel and play while they learn. This light table and sensory bin will give my students many oppertunities to learn by touching, finding, sorting, moving, feeling, mixing, grasping and so much more! I know that this will be a hot center where students will love to go. I am excited to change the bin to go along with the seasons or units we are studying. Kids will be able to explore many materials and use a variety of tools to help them develop fine motor skills that they need as they learn to write. Kindergarten should be fun and this is one way that I can make learning exciting!
