My Project
I am the Music Teacher at a school where Music has not been a part of students' lives since 2018. What I have loved about my past students is seeing the joy they have for Music and how it makes them express themselves in a variety of ways. Students who experience and excel in music tend to do better socially, academically, and behaviorally, which is something that has been lacking in the most recent years due to COVID-19.
By adding multi colored drumsticks, they will add JOY to making music while Bucket Drumming in our after school club AND in the general music classroom.
Students who come to music want to feel that "JOY" and inclusivity with their peers while having fun and creating music together!
