This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are some of the smartest little learners in my entire school! They come from different backgrounds; some ride the bus from far-away neighborhoods, and some live across the street. We are a neighborhood school where students learn content in Spanish.
Pre-kindergarten is one of the most important grades in school; it is the time when students get hooked on education.
The best way to hook them is with adapted materials that will allow them to learn in an individualized way. Specifically incorporating technology in ways that are age-appropriate and fun.
Getting small light tablets will support student fine motor development & phonemic awareness which will later support students in reading and writing.
