My Students
I teach in a Title I school, where most families receive assistance due to low income. All students need access to high-quality education and many of my students face challenges on a daily basis.
All my students are unique and deserve the best education possible.
I look at each child individually and I am thankful for the opportunity to support their social, emotional, behavioral, and educational needs.
My Project
Who loves something that glows or lights up? First graders, that's who! I am always looking for ways to keep my students engaged and their short attention spans intrigued for as long as time allows.
This light table will serve as a learning center that provides students with easy visibility of specific learning concepts, including patterning, sorting, counting, and many more activities!
Students can manipulate various objects that when placed on the table, will illuminate, allowing them to focus on the learning activity. The light table will be used for math and language arts.
