Lifesaving AED for my Students

My Project

I am so thankful for the kindness and generosity shown by the DonorsChoose community. I am asking for an AED device to mount in our classroom building to provide immediate, life-saving measures for our students, staff, and volunteers.

The AED can save a life!

Of course, we hope to never use the device, but it would be so comforting to know that one was present in the event we had to take life-saving actions.

We have over four hundred students, and fifty staff members, plus parents that volunteer often. Having an AED available as a 'just in case' measure would be so impactful. We also have a thriving athletics program for our middle school systems. I don't even want to imagine what could happen if we needed an AED during an athletics event with hundreds of spectators, but did not have one.
