My Project

My students deserve to have the most fun in PE. A lot of school nowadays is so focused on taking tests and making sure that they're prepared for college, but at an elementary school age they need to have more fun. PE is the way to get them active and teach them how to live a healthy lifestyle. I have nothing against being literate and knowing how to read, write and do math, but kids have so much energy and they need to let that energy out in order to focus better in class.

These scooter boards will help bump up the excitement in my PE classes because it will allow me to teach different, unique lessons.

I remember playing with scooters as a kid in PE and they were the most fun. It's different from playing with a ball or hula hooping or jumping rope, it's a whole different experience. I want to give that experience to my students and this project will let me do so.
