Help me give my students a love for reading! I want to do a featured author every month for school and I need more book sets for my classroom library. We will dive deep into all genres.

My Project

I want to do a feature of a different author every month in my class. We will dive deep into the genres so students can explore and see what types of books they find interesting to read about. We will talk about about the authors purpose and use it to write argumentative essays. I would like to host "Book Tastings" and have students be able to explore and to get excited about books.

My group of students coming in next year struggle with reading and are really low.

I want to nurture a love of reading for them and get them excited about opening a book for themselves.
