This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My name is Elmira Alanis I teach first grade at F.J Scott Elemantary in Roma Tx. Most of my students come from a low income household. However, most of my students don't have the supplies and materials needed to learn and work at school. My students are very special for me I want them to become an educated person. I want to teach my students to read and write. I do mnay different hands-on-activites with my students to motivate them in learning. This is why I am requesting items and supply needed in my classroom to teach, challenge,and motivate all my students to learn, read, and write. In addition, the items I'm requesting will benefit all my students in my classroom, having a printer in the classrom will help and challenge them to learn and work on colorful worksheets . This will motivate them on skills needed to be taught. This will also give the teacher the opportunity to search and print extra different acivities implemented in the classroom . My students will benefit having colors and glue to be able to work on different hands on activities. Students work on different activities using colors, glue and colored paper. Having colored paper I will use it for the sight words to flash them to my students when teaching them to read. Our school provides our students with many different educationl apps on their ipads. Students need their earphones, so that they can focused and concentrate in their learning. Having all of these items will benefit the teacher and students in the classroom in many different ways. Student's learning will be more challenging and motivate. Giving my students the opportunity with these items and materials will be so excited for them to learn and achieve their goals in school.
