My Students

I am the art teacher at our Academy and I teach art to our entire student body which is kindergarten through 5th grade. Since my school is my “classroom” I find it extremely important to educate the whole student with an emphasis on art and how it plays a crucial role in the STEAM movement. I would be honored and humbled to have an opportunity to attend any type of professional development opportunity at the Ron Clark Academy. Thank you.

My Project

I LOVE watching other teachers teach! It's inspiring, humbling, eye opening and just a great growing opportunity. Going to the Ron Clark Academy has always been on my professional bucket list. I have had several co-workers attend the 1 day seminar, and they all said the same thing, it's life changing!

I would love the opportunity to experience all the goodness myself.

Every day I strive to not only give my students a fun, creative out of the box experience in art, I also try to instill in them the importance of being of good character. Not only in school, but in life as well. The Ron Clark Academy is a shining example of this and I would love to see this first hand and bring back the goodness to my own classroom and our school.

WSA is a wonderful campus and I love being a teacher here, but there are always ways to improve and continue to grow and having this professional development opportunity would do just that!
