Diverse, curious, empathetic, eager, energetic, quizzical, artistic, out of the box thinkers... THESE ARE MY KIDS!
I teach all of these students.
I strive to be mindful of every learner in our day to day craft but need more techniques to awaken the minds and souls of my students.
I love how open and aware our students are to the world around them. I admire their curious minds and PASSION for learning. My students are world changers. Help me, help them reach new heights!
I am seeking funds to go to life changing professional development at the Ron Clark Academy. Lifelong learning is something we take seriously... teachers need training too!
I desire to empower my students by building strong, supportive, and professional relationships through creative and engaging instructional strategies that give students prideful ownership of their learning!
I believe every student is entitled to the quality of schooling which the wisest parents would wish for their own children, the best education for the best being the best education for all. (Paideia Principle #3)
A trip to the Ron Clark Academy will enhance my teaching in more ways than one. RCA is known for its best practices, engagement, discipline, and rigor. I desire to expand my knowledge on how to be a teacher who implements a balance of all these things so I can do everything in my power to prepare our students to be to be good citizens of the nation and the world and to make a good life for themselves. (Paideia Principle #5)
Please consider partnering with me to make this learning opportunity possible.
