My Students
My students are an amazing group of seventh and eighth grade students in Wisconsin. Along with my two teaching partners, we see all 950 students in two days!
Our students love to be challenged and enjoy new experiences with activities and lessons.
Every student deserves to have a quality physical education and health class. We are always looking for supplies, equipment, and resources to make this happen!
Our curriculum is ever-changing to make real-world experiences for our students! We love adding lifelong activities to keep our students moving.
My Project
We are bringing lifelong activities into our classroom! We are looking at obtaining hex bars in our weight room to continue to build on how to properly lift. Frisbees to be able to play ultimate frisbee. Unicycles to give more opportunities in our wheels unit. Kan Jam and Kubb to explore more recreational games that they can play in and outside of school.
Our physical education program gives our students opportunities for enjoyment and lifelong learning!
We teach our students activities that they can use when they are older as well as activities they can bring home and teach their family members.
Hex bars are perfect for teaching proper form and they are versatile to teach them beneficial lifts. These lifts will provide functional movements they can use as they get older.
The frisbees, Kan Jam, Kubb, and unicycles are perfect to maintain socially distant while in our physical education unit. Ultimate frisbee, Kan Jam, and Kubb allows the students to spread out while still working on teamwork and cooperation. Students will understand how these activities can be done with peers their own age as well as bring home the games to play with their families. The unicycles will be used in our wheels unit to teach them balance, coordination, and give them another choice in our wheels unit. We talk about safety and always include how to properly wear a helmet.
