Help me give my students the learning supplies they need to be better supported in my Life Skills classroom! Some of the skills my middle school special education students will be learning are: counting, budgeting, and cooking!
We will be using small projects to support student learning about budgeting, cooking, baking, exploring nature, weather and nature! The students will be using these supplies to interact and engage with these topics. Each month of the school year will be focused on a life skill with a corresponding project. For example, in October we will learn counting and money. The students will have a budget and go shopping in November for a gift for their parents before the holidays and then learn how to wrap that gift in December. These skills in money, saving, planning, and shopping are life skills for my students and essential things to learn as they grow up.
