My Project

My students are bright, curious, and eager to become more independent. In our Life Skills Support classroom, we focus on learning the practical skills that help them succeed both in school and in life. Every small step—from making a simple meal to taking care of personal hygiene—builds their confidence and prepares them for the future.

This project will provide a variety of items that meet my students’ needs in different ways:

Crockpot- for fundraising events that bring our school community together

Hair ties, deodorant, and bandaids- for self-care and personal hygiene

Teachers Pay Teachers gift card- to access engaging, tailored lessons and activities

Brooms and dustpans- to practice cleaning and taking responsibility for shared spaces

Birthday bracelets- to celebrate each student on their special day

Large digital clock- to build time management skills and help students with visual impairments easily see what time it is

Montessori zip/button/tie/snap board- to strengthen fine motor skills and independence as well as assess current abilities

Your generosity will make a lasting difference by providing the tools my students need to grow into capable, confident individuals—one skill at a time.
