My Project

Our school serves a uniquely diverse student population. 54% of the student population receives free and reduced lunch, and many students come from underserved communities on island.

Counseling subject topics often times include learning life skills, such as learning how to live independently, functionally, and emotionally well.

We'd like to offer students resources they may use in class and at home, by having access to life skills workbooks, sensory objects, journals, and planners. We also want to have a supply of hygienic products such as shampoo, soap, etc. as some may not have the resources at home.

We work individually with the student on learning these life skills in hope they can feel confident about themselves even after they graduate!
