My Project

These science supplies will enhance our students' learning experiences &support the achievement of science standards, particularly Standard S2L1: "Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information about the life cycles of different living organisms." Additionally, we aim to facilitate hands-on investigations of plant life cycles, aligning with the standard of "Plan and carry out an investigation of the life cycle of a plant by growing a plant from a seed &by recording changes over a period of time."

To achieve these educational objectives, we are seeking funding to procure science supplies.

Life cycle figurines will serve as tangible learning tools to help students visualize &understand the life cycles of various organisms.

Books on life cycles will provide additional resources for students to explore, fostering literacy skills while deepening their scientific understanding.

The butterfly life cycle kit will provide students with a hands-on opportunity to observe & document the transformation of caterpillars into butterflies.

This kit will engage students in authentic scientific inquiry as they witness firsthand the stages of metamorphosis & communicate their observations through written and visual means.

Flower Seeds, Soil, Pots, and Paint Pens:

Students will plant flower seeds in pots filled with soil, closely monitoring &recording the growth and development of their plants over time.

Paint pens will be used to decorate terracotta pots, providing students with a creative outlet while personalizing their plant-growing experience.

In May, students will take their potted plants home as Mother's Day gifts, fostering family engagement &celebrating the culmination of their learning journey.

We believe that investing in science education is crucial for empowering our students to become informed, curious, and scientifically literate individuals. Your support will make a significant impact on the quality of education we provide &the academic success of our students.
