My Project

Our preschool is requesting funding to purchase the LifeVac, an innovative, life-saving airway clearance device specifically designed to help in choking emergencies. Choking is a leading cause of injury and death in young children, who are especially vulnerable due to their smaller airways, developmental stage, and eating behaviors. Although our staff is trained in CPR and first aid, the LifeVac provides a vital backup option when traditional methods such as the Heimlich maneuver are unsuccessful. Adding this tool to our emergency preparedness plan will significantly enhance our ability to respond quickly and effectively, ensuring the highest standard of safety and care for our students and providing peace of mind to staff and families alike.
