Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students that come to me have been sent because of varying degrees of misbehavior and disruption. Most of these students have landed here because of their lack of motivation and creativity.
When my students come to me, I want to make sure that their time is well spent.
I want to foster an environment where they are held to a higher standard than before. I want to make sure that my students know: just because they are not in their class learning does not mean they have escaped a lesson.
My Project
Being met with new technology in all aspects of life, my students need new and innovative ways to learn. With the supplies requested my students will be able to do just that. With the MacBook Air, my students will be able to access an assortment of learning to keep them occupied with learning various life lessons through a positive behavior system. In their learning through the chosen technology, my students will be able to differentiate their life lessons in order to apply their understanding to real life applications. My students are at times lacking motivation and have lashed out in some way. By the time they come to me, they have often failed to focus and learn in class. Through the usage of the MacBook Air and ink cartridges I will help foster an environment of continued learning. By implementing technology they will be able to analyze and create their own future visions that will help bring their future to life. The Macbook will connect them to the outside world that they will soon be contributors to and I want to make sure that they will be able to motivate themselves to a bright future.
